heArt Journal Tuesday #3: What's Behind the Door?

 Each Tuesday, I post an art prompt to spark a little bit of inspiration for your creativity.  These posts are versatile and can be applied to a variety of creative mediums.  Whether you enjoy digital art or acrylic painting (or anything in between like tags, digital art, mixed media, etc), these fun prompts will help you generate ideas for a new project, or maybe add a fun spin to a current project.

Embark on an artistic adventure this week as we create art through random selection! Are you ready to take a chance? We have prepared three doors, each concealing a unique set of six images. Your challenge is to choose a door and use at least two of its images to create an art journal layout or collage.

Trust your instincts and select the doorway that calls to you. Download the images and let your creativity soar as you mix and match them. You can use as many images as you'd like, or even all six if inspiration strikes.

Feeling ambitious? You're welcome to explore more doorways or download all three sets of images to expand your artistic horizons. Remember, these images are yours to keep and use however you wish.

heArt Journal Tuesday #2: Glamorous Line Art Illustrations

  Each Tuesday, I post an art prompt to spark a little bit of inspiration for your creativity.  These posts are versatile and can be applied to a variety of creative mediums.  Whether you enjoy digital art or acrylic painting (or anything in between like tags, digital art, mixed media, etc), these fun prompts will help you generate ideas for a new project, or maybe add a fun spin to a current project.

The challenge this week is to use some art doll line illustrations.  You can use them as is (black and white) or you may recolor them to match your background page.  Actually, as long as you incorporate them into your artwork in some way, anything goes!

These line drawings currently are in black and white.  I love blank slates...they can become anything!

So color, collage, write with one of these images or all.  Just have fun and create from the heart.

I have provided for you three gorgeous illustrations, these are free for you to keep and use!
